C-Seals

C-Seals is a high-performance metal seal for installation in grooves. Standard material is heat treated Inconel X-750 with silver plated surface.
For special applications there is also Nimonic 80A, stainless steel 316 or Inconel 718. Nickel, copper, gold, indium and PTFE are examples of second surface coatings. The seals have a C-shaped profile, which can seal either internally (type CI), externally (type CE) or axially (type CA). C-Seals seal using the system pressure ("Self-energizing Seal") and only require low surface pressure during installation.
