Oval Ring Joint

Solid metal seals for mounting in grooved flanges according to API 6B and ASME B16.5. The standard type of Ring Joints according to ASME B16.20 is type R and is manufactured in two variants matching the above flange standards, either in oval or octagonal design. Oval Ring Joints fit both in grooves with flat or round bottom, while octagonal Ring Joints only fit in grooves with a flat bottom. The R-number marking on the outer edge of the ring identifies the dimension and pressure class.
