G-ST-P/S Gasket

The G-ST-P/S gasket is a hybrid gasket comprising a rubber sheath reinforced with a vulcanised steel  ring. The G-ST-P/S gasket is supplied as standard with a sheath made of a special-quality NBR rubber, type NBR-DUO (type G-ST-P/S NBR-DUO). The standard material in the steel core is carbon steel.
Gaskets with a core of stainless steel can be supplied to order.
The gasket is shape-stable and hence very easy to fit. The standard version of the G-ST-P/S gasket is provided with a moulded “O-ring bead” on the inner diameter for maximum gastightness even
at low seating stresses. Other rubber qualities such as natural rubber (NR), chloroprene (CR), ethylenepropylene (EPDM) and Viton (FPM) can be supplied to order.
